Are you tough enough?

On May 3rd 2015, 24 eteach employees will be taking on what has become known as ‘the world’s hardest race’… Tough Mudder! For those that haven’t heard of this abomination, Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile slog through cross country terrain, where one must climb, jump, crawl and slide through and over 23 obstacles along the route… oh I forgot to mention, you also get electrocuted, tear gassed and frozen too!  Not one for the faint hearted.

We are also looking to recruit some tough muddery type teachers to join us on the course. If you are interested and up for the challenge – visit our Facebook page to find out how to join in the fun! All entry and team costs are covered by eteach – we want to see who is tough enough!

Our veteran Tough Mudder-er and leader, Rhys Howells, described his first experience last year as “both the worst and best day of my life!” Our team are in for a rough ride!

Now I bet you are wondering why the upstanding employees of eteach are putting themselves through this experience?

Well apart from being the toughest education recruiters in town, eteach is supporting Make-A-Wish UK, looking to raise over £1500 to grant magical wishes for children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.

The minor discomfort our employees will feel during the race is nothing compared to what these children go through on a daily basis. Whatever the child’s wish, it gives them and their family an escape from the reality of living with a life-threatening condition – creating memories to treasure forever, whatever the future may hold.

Make-A-Wish has granted more than 9,000 magical wishes to deserving children. But hundreds more will turn to Make-A-Wish every year, so every donation really does count.

If you would like to help us reach our target, please visit and donate on our justgiving page. Thankyou! :)
